Propane tanks aren’t one-size-fits-all. Getting the wrong size means you’ll either have to refill constantly or pay for space you’ll never use. The right tank depends on how you use propane at home or work. Whether you’re grilling on weekends, heating your house or running appliances, picking the right size makes life so much easier and saves you money too.

Which Tank Size Fits Your Needs?
- 20 lb. Tank – The one you definitely know! Perfect for backyard grills, patio heaters and small fire pits. You can refill these at the Euliss office in Liberty.
- 120 Gallon Tank – Great if you only use propane for one or two things, like a fireplace, dryer or water heater. It’s a nice middle ground for light users.
- 250 Gallon Tank – Ideal for smaller homes that use propane for heating or those with a few regularly running propane appliances.
- 330/500 Gallon Tank – We set a lot of 330-gallon tanks, especially for homes with generators. 500-gallon tanks are also a common choice, giving medium to large homes plenty of capacity for heating, cooking, hot water and backup generators.
- 1,000 Gallon Tank – Typically used for commercial properties or very large homes with multiple propane furnaces, cook stoves, logs, generators and more. This size is best suited for true whole-home fuel users or businesses needing a large supply.
